California under Proposition 65 and 39 for bisphenol A to assess substance

July 29, 2011 news, the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) announced today that California carcinogen evaluation committee (CIC) is of bisphenol A (BPA), phthalate butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) and 39 kinds of chemical substances to assess and consider these substances included in the "Proposition 65" (Proposition 65) in. According to "1986 California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Decree" (California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act 1986) provides that "Proposition 65" list of chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive problems.
