U.S. CPSC on the recall of Chinese-made LED Night Light
September 2, 2011, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Corvest Acquisition Inc. (Now Camsing Global LLC), today announced a LED night light made a voluntary recall.
The recalled high 3.75 inches LED night-light, wide and 1.75 inches, with flame retardant components, there is a white or blue LED light bulb and a transparent shell, a plug directly into the outlet. "Model SBD01", "E314462" and "Made in China" words printed on the back of a white LED night-light plastic base. The LED Night Light from December 2010 - March 2011 with a different company name in the form of promotional gift to consumers.
The number of recalled products is about 10,000. Reason for the recall, the LED night light will overheat, burning and melting, resulting in minor burns consumers. Up to now, Corvest Acquisition Corporation has received five overheating the LED night light, smoke and melting the report, but no casualties.
To this end, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advises consumers to immediately stop using the LED night light, and discarded.
